COMPANY PROFILE
Abbey Plastics and Abbey Promotional Products were formed in 1970; the factory was situated in western Sydney at Rydalmere.
In June 1986 the business was purchased by Ian Macgregor and Bill Morrison with Christian Macgregor following in 1992, each person brought a wealth of individual experience to the group.
Ian managed and rebuilt a construction products business and also has experience in accounting, advertising.
Bill was a sales manager for a big multinational company.
Christian came from an engineering background were he was instrumental in the manufacture of the machinery we currently use today.
With this wealth of experience it was all the company needed to take it into the year 2000. The company was growing and our factory at Rydalmere was busting at the seams and in 1996 the decision was made to move to our current larger premises in Smithfield.
In 2004 Bill retired, the company now pushed forward with an all family influence, as our staff and clients are the most important assets they are all part of this manufacturing family and identity.
Abbey has made considerable investments in equipment and machinery to make sure we lead the way in the latest technology in our industry.
Abbey has been creating ideas and product in plastics for so many years that its just second nature so we look forward to the next challenges that you might bring to us. We still get amazed by designs and finishes we achieve for our clients even after 20 years.
